Job Description

Sales Manager leading growth in travel sector for fintech company offering embedded finance solutions. Connecting cutting edge technology with businesses for optimized cross-border payments.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, target, and engage potential clients within the travel sector, including bedbanks, OTAs, and other intermediaries.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive adoption of our embedded finance and FX solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision makers such as CFOs, Treasurers, and operational leaders in travel businesses.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, understanding clients’ challenges and presenting tailored solutions.
  • Travel regularly to meet clients in person and attend relevant industry related events, including fintech, SaaS, and platform economy conferences.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting and pitching to negotiating and closing deals.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long term satisfaction.
  • Stay informed on travel industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes affecting cross border payments and FX.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, pipeline, and forecasts in CRM tools.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Report directly to the VP Sales.

Requirements:

  • Five or more years in sales within fintech, embedded finance, or FX solutions, with a focus on the travel industry.
  • Proven track record of selling to travel businesses, including bedbanks, OTAs, and intermediaries.
  • Familiarity with operational and financial challenges in the travel sector.
  • Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to simplify complex financial solutions.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce and sales analytics platforms.
  • Self motivated, results oriented, and comfortable in a fast paced, high growth environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and craft tailored financial solutions.
  • Passion for fintech innovation and driving efficiency in the travel industry.
