Job Description

Sales Manager Outbound at StudySmarter, driving phone sales and providing educational consultations to users. Collaborating with partners for tailored solutions and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Active outbound calling: You contact our existing users (warm leads) and proactively excite them about our partners' products.
  • Value-added consulting: You understand the needs of students and school pupils and sell tailored solutions (e.g., degree programs, financial products or retirement plans).
  • Closing deals: You conduct sales conversations with a focus on closing and are responsible for your own sales KPIs.
  • Pipeline management: You maintain your leads diligently in our CRM and ensure optimal follow-up.
  • Feedback loop: You work closely with our partner management team to continuously improve campaign quality based on your conversations.

Requirements:

  • Strong communicator: You are articulate, have a positive phone presence and can persuade people.
  • Sales drive: You love selling and are motivated to not only meet but exceed your targets.
  • Initial experience: Ideally you have 1–2 years of experience in a call center, telephone sales or promotion (career changers with talent are welcome!).
  • Empathy & target group: You can empathize with the life situation of students and school pupils.
  • Resilience: You are not discouraged by a “no” but see it as motivation for the next call.
  • Language level: You speak German at a native level and have good English skills.
