Job Description

Sales Support Representative responsible for customer service and fulfilling patient orders at AdaptHealth. Educates patients on equipment usage, insurance, and payment arrangements.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for fulfilling patient orders, documentation and delivery instructions are accurate
  • Trains and educates patients and caregivers on use of equipment and answers any inquiries related to services or equipment.
  • Informs new patients about their rights and responsibilities
  • Discusses insurance coverage with patient and arranges payment of patient’s financial responsibility
  • Able to process credit and debit card payments using standard electronic tools.
  • Obtains all required information and medical documentation to ensure complete, accurate and timely processing of referrals

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two (2) years’ work-related experience in health care, customer service, delivery personnel with sales component or entry level sales is required
  • Prior work experience in the HME, Diabetic or Wound Supply is preferred
  • Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
