Job Description
Salesforce Consultant responsible for developing technical solutions and leading client calls at Baker Tilly. Assisting with architecture and documentation on Salesforce platform.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with building architecture (objects, fields, page layouts) and automation (workflow rules, process builders, approval processes) on the Salesforce platform
- Assist with building declarative components (Apps, Lightning Pages) in Salesforce Lightening
- Help create on-record analytics (roll up fields, formula fields, record-level reports) in Salesforce
- Configure the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) objects, custom settings and account model
- Install and configure applications from the Salesforce AppExchange such as email, social media, financial management, online payment, SMS, and form building applications.
- Install and configure proprietary applications as needed
- Comprehend defined appropriate data model and system architecture from business requirements for defined deliverables
- Draft comprehensive technical documentation appropriate for both engineering and clients. This includes documentation mapping detailed (field level) data flows
- Draft written recommendations, outlining multiple solution designs and considerations for each.
- Discuss data model considerations internally and with clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1 year relevant experience with Management or Technology Consulting experience preferred.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (Admin 201) required
- Near proficient in Salesforce Lightning and Salesforce Data Loader and/or DemandTools
- Certified Salesforce Cloud Consultant and Certified Salesforce Advanced Administrator (Admin 301) preferred
- Experience implementing databases and building custom applications on the Salesforce platform
- Experience assisting with building simple decision models from complex logic requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint) with fluency in Excel and Google Sheets
- Ability to travel as needed, approximately 5%
