Job Description
Senior SAP Finance and Project Systems analyst supporting L3Harris aerospace and defense operations. Designing, implementing, and optimizing FI/PS solutions across enterprise systems.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee implementation and operational support of SAP Finance and Project Systems functionality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and managed service support personnel
- Design, configure, and test SAP FI/PS solutions
- Provide expert guidance on SAP best practices
- Facilitate collection and documentation of business requirements for SAP Finance and Project Systems modules
- Support finance and project systems functionality for large SAP implementation projects, including upgrades, enhancements, and new module rollouts
- Develop and maintain functional specifications and process-flow documentation
- Assist with prioritization of issue resolution and enhancements
- Provide guidance for troubleshooting complex issues
- Build internal and external customer relationships by aligning system solutions with changing business requirements
- Stay current with new technologies within SAP systems
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in ERP system utilization and operational leadership
- Proven track record of successful system implementations and support
- Strong understanding of financial processes, project management principles, and SAP integration points with other modules (e.g., MM, SD)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective ERP solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Experience with development of technical solutions to complex problems and driving implementation
- Experience working within financial applications, with emphasis on accounting or shared services functions
- Exposure to project management methodologies, including waterfall and Agile
