Job Description

Senior BIM Manager leading BIM standards, Revit production, and multidisciplinary coordination for AECOM's hyperscale data center portfolio. Overseeing U.S. and global teams across remote projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead digital delivery across AECOM's hyperscale data center portfolio
  • Implement and enforce project-level BIM standards, execution plans, and coordination workflows
  • Oversee U.S. BIM staff and global enterprise-capabilities partners and hold them accountable to standards, scope, and schedule
  • Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans and related documentation
  • Administer project Common Data Environments, including folder structures, permissions, metadata, workflows, retention, and integrations
  • Run BIM kickoff meetings with internal teams, partners, consultants, and clients
  • Monitor contractual requirements and information-delivery milestones
  • Conduct QA reviews, model inspections, clash and coordination reviews, audits, and model health scoring
  • Track issues, deficiencies, non-compliance, deliverable status, and remediation
  • Produce, correct, or complete model content when deliverables are late, incomplete, or below standard
  • Perform hands-on Revit modeling, sheet setup, parameter population, and corrections
  • Resolve BIM design and modeling issues across project phases
  • Create smart-object content and templates
  • Set up and verify project models, coordinates, base points, survey points, and coordination standards
  • Run multidisciplinary model coordination, clash detection, issue triage, health scoring, and remediation tracking
  • Oversee 3D/4D/5D model lifecycle integration and contractor/consultant model submittals
  • Report monthly on BIM KPIs, compliance metrics, and deliverable status and maintain dashboards
  • Build and execute an automation roadmap using Dynamo and Revit API scripts
  • Provide technical production support for 3D and 2D deliverables and template development
  • Deploy and support Autodesk Content Catalogue / UNIFI
  • Support asset information management, digital handover, facilities management, and digital-twin environments
  • Provide input to BIM estimates and resource schedules and monitor utilization and recovery
  • Contribute to training and certification, mentor coordinators and junior staff, capture lessons learned, and share BIM best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree + 6 years of relevant experience, or Associate's Degree + 8 years of relevant experience, or HS Diploma + 10 years of relevant experience in BIM/digital delivery, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • 2 years of experience directly leading or coordinating multidisciplinary BIM work
  • 8+ years in BIM environments preferred
  • Experience establishing and enforcing standards and overseeing multidisciplinary teams preferred
  • Data center or mission-critical experience strongly preferred
  • Experience coordinating, overseeing, and performing QA on work produced by offshore / enterprise-capabilities teams
  • Strong hands-on Revit skills across disciplines
  • Deep experience with Forma, Revit, Navisworks, and Civil 3D
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint, ProjectWise, and project planning tools desirable
  • Demonstrated capability in Dynamo, Revit API, and scripting
  • Strong knowledge of NBIMs, NCIS, AIA, BIMForum, and ISO 19650
  • Experience with BEP authoring, QA/QC frameworks, and model lifecycle management
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and training capability
  • Excellent time management and ability to drive accountability across distributed teams
  • Interest or experience integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into BIM and digital-delivery workflows
  • Must attend in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location
