Job Description
Senior Business Analyst driving automation strategies for TELUS. Leading high-velocity intake and backlog management processes to enhance technical solutions and business alignment.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the strategic evolution of our automation ecosystem by orchestrating high-velocity intake
- Execute high-velocity intake management by triaging and categorizing all requests
- Drive backlog excellence and execution readiness by translating business needs into high-quality user stories and technical briefs
- Architect ROI and impact models in partnership with stakeholders
- Lead AIOps feasibility and process integrity assessments
- Champion continuous delivery optimization by identifying bottlenecks in the intake-to-delivery lifecycle
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience leading complex IT or Automation initiatives
- Post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Engineering or equivalent professional experience
- Deep understanding of Lean or Six Sigma principles
- Comfort with AI/AIOps concepts
- Hands-on experience with Jira
- Proven analytical ability to interpret complex data
- Curiosity and drive to ask the right questions, dig deeper into requirements, and continuously learn and adapt
- Background or past work experience in telecommunications, network operations, data centres, corporate security, or systems operations is a plus
- Experience using analytic and reporting tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Jira, Tableau, AI analytics tools)
