Job Description

Senior Business Analyst supporting operational improvement, automation, and transformation for a real-estate lending company. Analyzing processes, building business cases, and preparing executive-ready presentations.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute assigned business improvement workstreams, managing deliverables independently and proactively identifying risks, blockers, and questions.
  • Gather, clean, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources; calculate key metrics and translate findings into meaningful business insights.
  • Interview internal stakeholders, document workflows, and create clear process maps and written procedures that reflect how work is performed.
  • Support business cases by organizing assumptions, evaluating operational and financial impact, and developing preliminary conclusions.
  • Create polished, executive-ready presentations and maintain clear documentation of methodologies, assumptions, decisions, and work status.
  • Support the Business Excellence team’s initiatives involving operational improvement, technology implementation, automation, and business transformation across the lending lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders under the direction of the Director of Business Excellence.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, management consulting, internal consulting, business transformation, operational excellence, or strategy and operations.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, including experience working with incomplete or conflicting information.
  • Demonstrated ability to build business cases, analyze processes, create process maps, and develop professional presentations with limited rework.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and PowerPoint or Google Slides; familiarity with process-mapping tools and the ability to learn new business systems quickly.
  • Professional fluency in written and spoken English, strong internal stakeholder-management skills, and availability during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
  • Previous experience with a consulting firm or an internal transformation team is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with financial services, technology implementation, automation, or interconnected business systems is a plus.
