Job Description
Senior Business Analyst designing scalable data architecture and analytics for Ocrolus’s AI fintech lending platform. Building pipelines and delivering actionable insights to improve lender risk decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data architecture and data models to optimize data processes and improve efficiency
- Build and maintain reliable, scalable data pipelines in Snowflake or another database or data warehouse
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets
- Use Python to integrate, transform, and automate data workflows
- Analyze data to identify patterns and root causes
- Present findings with clear visualizations using Tableau, Sigma, or similar tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Optimize and streamline analytics processes to improve reporting capabilities
- Manage key stakeholder relationships, understand data needs, and deliver timely, actionable insights
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 4+ years in data analytics, data architecture, and process optimization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to break down ambiguous business questions and find patterns and root causes in large datasets
- Ability to support conclusions with data and visualization
- Expert SQL skills, including complex queries, query and database performance tuning, and large dataset management
- Experience designing scalable data models and platforms, including dimensional and star/snowflake schemas
- Sound pipeline management
- Strong working knowledge of Python for data integration, manipulation, and automation
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical teams
- Experience with Snowflake and ELT/orchestration tools, dbt, Airflow, Git, or CI/CD is preferred
- Data quality, observability, and governance practices are preferred
- Snowflake cost and performance tuning is preferred
- Hands-on use of LLMs and AI tools is preferred
