Job Description
Financial Business Analyst supporting SAIC’s government technology programs. Developing pricing models, cost volumes, financial analyses, and recommendations for competitive bids.
Responsibilities:
- Support and review the basis of estimate (BOE) and cost narratives aligned with RFP requirements
- Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses, including staffing mixes, rate assumptions, and fee strategies, to shape competitive bids
- Analyze historical program financials and operational performance to inform win themes, value propositions, and proposed efficiencies
- Assess financial viability of new offerings, tools, or services, including managed services, cloud migrations, and analytics solutions
- Support pipeline and portfolio analysis, including revenue and margin projections and risk/opportunity assessments
- Provide data-driven recommendations on staffing decisions, investment in tools/technology, and process improvements
- Help articulate the financial impact of solution changes, such as cloud migration of disaster recovery, automation, and new service offerings, on the current program and recompete posture
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Master's degree and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience
- Typically, 3–5+ years of experience in financial analysis, program control, FP&A, or business analysis
- Experience supporting government contracts within a defense, federal, state/local, or similar environment
- Experience contributing to recompetes, proposals, pricing, or capture activities strongly preferred
- Experience working directly with Program Management, Capture, and Business Development teams to support opportunity pursuit and portfolio growth
- Strong skills with MS Office products and Microsoft SharePoint
- Must be a US Citizen
