Job Description

Senior Business Analyst shaping digital products for UK clients and public sector leaders. Defining requirements, managing backlogs, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and supporting discovery and pre-sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the standardisation of requirements elicitation processes within the Digital Engineering business unit
  • Shape product vision and maintain backlogs by working closely with customers’ Product Owners
  • Write clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Software Engineers, QA, and other technical stakeholders
  • Participate in discovery workshops with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Identify new opportunities and support pre-sales activities to help win new business
  • Collaborate with the broader team to ensure project success and contribute to team knowledge sharing
  • Define requirements and ensure deliveries align with the business vision and maximise stakeholder value

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Business Analyst working on digital transformation projects
  • Experience challenging assumptions and defining PoC/MVP requirements with Product Owners
  • Ability to structure backlogs using epics and features aligned with business needs and technical architecture
  • Ability to write clear, testable user stories using Gherkin acceptance criteria
  • Experience leading or facilitating Agile ceremonies, including Stand-ups, Retrospectives, Showcases, Planning, and Backlog Refinement
  • Solid understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies
  • Strong experience working in an Agile team to develop system/product designs based on user requirements
  • Ability to create and sustain effective stakeholder relationships across all levels
  • Resilient and proactive with a strong delivery focus
  • Experience using UML or BPMN modelling conventions for data, application, and business process domains
  • Ability to become familiar with complex business domains quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Nice to have: experience with complex systems running on Azure/AWS
  • Nice to have: experience with projects using Databricks
