Job Description

Senior Channel Programs & Operations Manager focusing on distributor partner programs at Akamai. Leading initiatives in program scalability, partner enablement, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and improve existing Distributor partner programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and partner needs.
  • Leading new initiatives from inception to execution, driving operational improvements and process efficiencies.
  • Collaborating closely with strategic Distributors to gather requirements, design processes, and implement scalable, streamlined renewal and program initiatives effectively.
  • Implementing partner enablement strategies, ensuring Distributors and Resellers possess essential training, resources, and tools to effectively sell and deliver Akamai solutions.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including Partner Account Executives and leadership, to align program strategy with business priorities.
  • Working cross-functionally to define program scope, success metrics, and execution plans.
  • Tracking and analyze Distributor GTM performance across key metrics and KPIs, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Delivering partner-focused assistance as required to address and resolve partners' issues, questions, and concerns promptly and effectively.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in program management, channel operations, partner programs, or partner enablement, ideally within the technology or cybersecurity industry.
  • Have a Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma or equivalent professional background.
  • Demonstrate experience supporting distributor or two-tier partner models to effectively contribute to organizational goals and collaborative partnerships.
  • Be detail-oriented and analytical, with the ability to use both qualitative and quantitative insights to solve complex business challenges.
  • Have communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions and drive results in a matrixed environment.
  • Excel in a dynamic environment, managing shifting priorities effectively while adapting to changing business requirements and objectives.
  • Be comfortable working in an international environment, engaging with stakeholders across regions and time zones.
  • Be well versed in Salesforce, Partner Portals, and Metrics/KPI dashboards
