Job Description
Senior clinical consultant optimizing BD’s pharmacy automation solutions for central fill operations. Advising healthcare customers through workflow design, implementation, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with sales, solution design, and implementation teams to assess customer clinical and operational needs in central fill pharmacy environments
- Lead pharmacy workflow assessments and advise on best practices for high-volume fulfillment, medication handling, and workflow efficiency
- Develop and recommend optimized clinical and operational workflows tailored to customer environments, automation footprints, and performance goals
- Conduct on-site assessments, readiness evaluations, and post-go-live optimization reviews
- Advise customers on medication-use processes, central fill workflows, and automation adoption strategies
- Support customer education, change management, and adoption of pharmacy automation solutions
- Document findings, recommendations, and optimization opportunities in reports and presentations
- Partner with Sales Engineers, implementation teams, R&D, and product teams on customer outcomes
- Conduct follow-up visits and business reviews to assess performance, satisfaction, and continuous-improvement opportunities
Requirements:
- High School diploma required
- 5 years of experience in central fill pharmacy operations, pharmacy automation consulting, sales consulting, solution design support, or related healthcare environment required
- Experience presenting recommendations and solution concepts to healthcare executives highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy/Pharm.D. preferred
- Deep knowledge of BD central fill pharmacy operations, medication-use workflows, and pharmacy automation systems
- Experience using EPIC WAM in a central fill environment
- Strong consultative skills for assessing workflows and recommending operational improvements
- Experience leading customer-facing assessments, optimization initiatives, and workflow redesign in central fill pharmacy settings
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior customer stakeholders
- Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills
- Ability to conduct on-site assessments and regular follow-up visits
