Job Description
Senior Civil Engineer delivering drainage, highways, flood risk, and water infrastructure designs across Ireland. Supporting multidisciplinary projects, technical delivery, and junior engineer development at AECOM.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver civil engineering designs from feasibility and planning through to construction
- Provide technical input, particularly in drainage design
- Support the development of junior engineers
- Work closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver projects on time and to a high technical standard
- Undertake site inspections
- Prepare reports
- Manage technical and delivery risks on projects
- Deliver civil engineering services across Ireland and the U.K., covering drainage, highways, flood risk, and water infrastructure
Requirements:
- Degree-qualified Civil Engineer
- Chartered or working towards Chartered status
- Experience in drainage networks, SuDS, water distribution, flood risk, highways/pavements, and earthworks modelling
- Comfortable using MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D
- Clear communicator with experience working as part of multidisciplinary teams
- Must attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location
