Job Description
Senior Director of Food Away from Home Sales at B&G Foods driving sales across food service channels. Leading a team and partnering with the EVP of Sales for revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the EVP of Sales to achieve the revenue, share, and profit growth objectives in the food service business.
- Develop and implement the right customer-specific plans for those accounts in a manner that is not disruptive to the balance of the market.
- Lead a team of salespersons and brokers.
- Provide recommendations on the optimal manner of 'going to market' at the customer level.
- Lead the execution of plans to establish and maintain deep and lasting relationships with customers.
- Tracks and reports on the progress of establishing partnerships with customers and achieving sales objectives.
- Assess and report on the progress made with each customer to ensure the goals are achieved and adjustments are made promptly.
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers and HQ for all forecasting activities.
- Maintain forecast models for customers, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from key sources.
- Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment.
Requirements:
- At least 15 years of sales experience in the food service business, partnering with customers within this segment and driving sales.
- A bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, marketing, or a related field is required.
- Demonstrated experience in both direct and broker sales models.
- Demonstrated experience in achieving sales goals.
- Demonstrated experience in a key leadership role with success at leading a sales organization that services customers in multiple distribution channels.
- Possess advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be a team player who can collaborate with internal and external resources.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
