Job Description

Senior Director leading Order-to-Cash operations for Warner Music Group, a global music and publishing company. Managing billing, collections, revenue recognition, cash application, and regional OTC teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end Order to Cash process and execution across multiple business models, platforms, and regions, including North and South America
  • Ensure billing, collections, revenue recognition, credit, customer master data, and cash application activities are accurate and timely
  • Oversee processes supported by SAP, Salesforce, Vistex, and other billing and reporting platforms
  • Manage day-to-day cash flow continuity, misdirected or unknown payments, and due-to/due-from reconciliation
  • Define and monitor OTC performance metrics, including aging, unapplied cash, billing accuracy, collection effectiveness, and customer satisfaction
  • Serve as the primary OTC point of contact for mergers and acquisitions
  • Partner with Business Development on new deals and agreements to achieve systematic revenue processing
  • Manage a customer portfolio generating more than $4 billion in annual revenue
  • Liaise with Revenue Recognition to ensure billing follows individual customer agreements
  • Build and strengthen OTC team capabilities through talent identification, development, and oversight
  • Serve as a key contact for Corporate Finance, Label Finance, Internal Audit, and Shared Services
  • Leverage system automation, AI-based reconciliation tools, and streamlined workflows
  • Serve as an OTC escalation point and final approver
  • Lead day-to-day OTC activities and oversee onshore and offshore OTC leaders
  • Partner with RTR on month-end close activities, PTP on working capital improvement, GPO on process improvement, and Risk Management, Treasury, and Legal on OTC portals and wallets

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in Order to Cash, Revenue Operations, or a similar field, including credit and collections oversight
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience for Order to Cash delivery
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and team member management skills in a remote-first environment
  • Ability to value-stream map OTC processes including billing, credit, collections, cash applications, and industry-specific revenue streams
  • Ability to map upstream and downstream processes for seamless organizational hand-offs
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Experience leading collaborative discussions with diverse stakeholders
  • Executive-level communication skills
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP, SOX compliance, and audit procedures
  • Experience driving continuous improvement and challenging normal operations
  • Experience with TQM, Six Sigma, LEAN, Agile, or similar process measurement and analysis techniques
  • Experience ensuring policy and process compliance with applicable laws and data policies
  • Experience with desktop applications, financial ERP software, process flow tools, and/or statistical analysis
  • Extensive experience using a large and complex ERP system
  • Basic understanding of IT project management methodology, Agile, or SDLC
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
  • CPA, MBA, or equivalent preferred
  • Music or Entertainment Industry experience preferred
  • Deep knowledge of SAP and S/4HANA preferred
  • Working experience with OTC activities in LATAM preferred
