Job Description
Senior Financial Analyst supporting Medtronic’s EurAsia healthcare finance planning and analytics. Delivering forecasting, reporting, Power BI insights and executive recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial and operational performance for the EurAsia Leadership Team and EurAsia Finance Leadership Team
- Support planning and forecasting cycles
- Prepare management reporting and executive-ready presentations
- Partner with FP&A teams and business partners to identify trends, risks and opportunities
- Translate financial results and business developments into analysis, commentary and presentations
- Explain performance drivers and support strategic and operational decisions
- Improve FP&A processes through reporting and analytical tools
- Interpret performance, identify business drivers and turn complex data into insights and recommendations
Requirements:
- Degree in finance, business, accounting, information systems, analytics, computer science or a related field
- 3–4 years’ experience in FP&A, finance analytics, BI, reporting, automation or financial systems
- Strong knowledge of financial statements, planning, forecasting and variance analysis
- Strong Power BI skills
- Advanced Excel skills and practical experience working with financial data and analytical tools
- Experience translating business questions into structured analysis, reporting and actionable recommendations
- Awareness of AI and predictive analytics in finance decision-making
- Strong integrity and attention to data quality, security and responsible AI
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities and collaborate in a virtual, multicultural team
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Willingness to travel approximately 10%
- Advanced degree, professional finance qualification or relevant technology certification
- Experience with OneStream, Hyperion, Essbase or similar planning platforms
- Exposure to cloud data platforms or enterprise data and reporting environments
- Experience using automation, low-code or AI tools to improve finance processes
- Curiosity about emerging analytics tools and willingness to develop new digital capabilities
- Experience in agile delivery, testing, release management, training and adoption
- Experience partnering across Finance, Data & Analytics and IT in a multinational matrix organization
