Job Description
Finance analytics executive leading Cotiviti’s healthcare data, BI, AI, and forecasting strategy. Building enterprise insights and a high-performing Finance Data & Analytics organization.
Responsibilities:
- Set the vision and multi-year strategy for Finance Data & Analytics across financial and business data, analytics, reporting, automation, and artificial intelligence
- Measure progress against clear success metrics
- Serve as a strategic partner across FP&A, Finance, business units, enterprise functions, Technology and Data teams, and executive leadership
- Connect financial, commercial, customer, and operational data into an integrated view of enterprise performance
- Translate data into insights, risks, opportunities, and recommendations for senior leaders
- Build a trusted, governed data foundation with Technology and Data
- Modernize management reporting and business intelligence using Power BI, dashboards, self-service analytics, and driver-based insights
- Integrate CRM and commercial information to improve visibility into pipeline, bookings, revenue, retention, and profitability
- Develop and execute a roadmap for AI, advanced analytics, and automation in forecasting, variance analysis, reporting, scenario modeling, and anomaly detection
- Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing Finance Data & Analytics organization
- Establish an operating model and talent capabilities supporting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Improve forecasting, performance management, and KPI reporting with business and functional leaders
- Establish trusted, consistently defined enterprise metrics
- Lead adoption of new technologies and ways of working
- Build stakeholder alignment for sustained improvements in decision-making
- Hire, develop, coach, lead, and retain top-tier talent
- Complete annual performance review or goal-setting responsibilities and assigned special projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field required
- Advanced degree or relevant professional certification preferred
- 12-15+ years of progressive experience across Finance, FP&A, data and analytics, business intelligence, technology, or transformation
- Significant leadership experience in a complex, multi-business-unit enterprise
- Strong financial and business acumen, including FP&A, forecasting, planning, financial statements, and performance management
- Demonstrated success leading data, analytics, technology, or digital transformation
- Experience building, developing, and leading high-performing teams across analytical, financial, technical, and business disciplines
- Strong understanding of data architecture, governance, integration, business intelligence, and self-service analytics
- Significant experience with Microsoft Power BI
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Salesforce
- Experience integrating commercial information with financial and operational data
- Experience with enterprise planning, forecasting, ERP, data warehouse/lakehouse, or automation platforms
- Strong understanding of AI and advanced analytics with practical business applications
- Ability to partner with data architects, engineers, and technology leaders and translate technical concepts into financial and business outcomes
- Exceptional communication and executive presence
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights and recommendations for senior executives
- Ability to synthesize large volumes of complex financial, operational, commercial, and technical information
- Strong analytical reasoning, systems thinking, and judgment
- Ability to structure and solve complex problems where information may be incomplete or ambiguous
- Ability to connect operational and commercial activity to financial outcomes
- Ability to translate between financial, business, analytical, and technical concepts
- Ability to evaluate competing priorities and alternatives
- Ability to lead through organizational and technological change and manage multiple complex initiatives
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity
- Sound judgment with confidential information
- Must be able to provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance
