Job Description
Senior Full Stack Developer building Ruby on Rails and React solutions for Miratech, a global IT services and consulting company. Developing scalable 3D-modeling software with patented smartphone-camera technology.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and business stakeholders to align project goals and refine requirements
- Evaluate technical approaches, discuss tradeoffs, and recommend solutions to complex challenges
- Develop and refine full-stack services, applications, and tools using Ruby on Rails and React
- Optimize application performance and scalability
- Define, develop, and roll out features with product managers and technical experts
- Develop and integrate back-end and front-end components
- Ensure seamless interaction between Ruby on Rails services and React applications
- Identify process enhancements and implement best practices to improve system efficiency and team productivity
- Build an interactive 3D-modeling product using patented smartphone-camera technology, detailed measurements, and advanced design capabilities
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience designing, building, and deploying web applications
- Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails and React
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience building RESTful architectures and/or GraphQL APIs
- Ability to design efficient, scalable, and secure interfaces for internal and external use
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Proficiency in cloud-based environments such as AWS and Google Cloud
- Experience building scalable applications supporting complex workflows
- Experience building and growing products from initial launch through maturity
- Experience taking features from concept through planning, development, testing, and delivery
- Team leadership experience guiding engineers and solving poorly understood problems
- Experience in an engineering-driven organization with shared ownership of outcomes
- Cross-functional collaboration experience with Product, Design, Analytics, and Legal
- React Native mobile experience is nice to have
