Job Description

Senior Health & Safety Manager improving GE HealthCare’s Environmental, Health, and Safety programs. Leading risk reduction initiatives and fostering a culture of EHS excellence across operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead compliance efforts in Risk Management and High-Risk Operations, supporting Health & Safety programs across GE HealthCare’s global footprint.
  • Interpret and apply business, industry, and regulatory standards to key global programs.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate Health & Safety risks across diverse operational environments.
  • Promote continuous improvement by sharing best practices and lessons learned.
  • Analyze safety metrics and trends to evaluate program effectiveness and guide strategic decision-making.
  • Champion excellence in GE HealthCare EHS programs.
  • Manage multiple initiatives concurrently while delivering high-quality support and service to internal stakeholders.
  • Serve as a thought leader and integral member of the Health & Safety Program team.
  • Collaborate with Global Health & Safety and Governance teams to develop proactive risk-reduction strategies.
  • Stay informed on regional EHS regulations and GE HealthCare-specific program requirements relevant to assigned responsibilities.
  • Mentor and coach EHS professionals to strengthen talent pipelines and build organizational capability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited college, university or equivalent in Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience leading Health & Safety program implementation in a global context, with a focus on manufacturing environments and distributed workforce operations.
  • Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
