Job Description
Senior Investment Risk Analyst strengthening Future Group’s sustainable investment risk capabilities. Developing analytics and reporting to support robust portfolio construction and decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Strengthen Future Group’s investment risk capability
- Implement the investment risk discipline
- Develop risk analytics
- Support robust, sustainable portfolio construction
- Provide analysis informing investment decision-making
- Generate regular analysis and reporting on factor risk exposures, active risk and performance attribution
- Conduct ad hoc deep-dive risk exposure, performance and stress test analysis
- Drive automation and scalability of the risk analytics platform
- Contribute to data integrity, quantitative analysis tools, programming tools and SQL design
- Contribute to AASB S2 reporting of sustainability risk exposures
- Collaborate with Portfolio Managers and other analysts across investment strategies
- Peer-review quantitative models and programming developed by other teams and AI, including work supporting the DAA process and listed markets portfolio construction
Requirements:
- 4–7 years’ relevant investment or quantitative analysis experience
- Excellent quantitative analytical skills
- Good programming and SQL skills
- Achieved or working towards a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification or similar
- Experience with AI use cases for risk or quantitative analysis
- Belief in Future Group’s mission and passion for moving Australia’s money from fossil fuels into renewable energy
- Exposure to MSCI Barra or MSCI One (nice-to-have)
- Experience with investment risk systems, portfolio construction, performance attribution or stress testing (nice-to-have)
