Job Description

Senior Manager responsible for global demand planning and forecasting processes at Terex Corporation. Leading team and improving revenue and unit forecast accuracy while supporting customer service levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead global revenue and forecasting processes, including monthly decision meetings
  • Serve as NA Demand Planning Lead
  • Communicate forecast confidence, risks, and opportunities to functional groups and SIOP leadership
  • Analyze historical orders, sales pipeline data, and market information to improve forecast accuracy
  • Conduct monthly forecast reviews with regional sales teams; adjust forecasts and gain alignment with business owners
  • Lead Supply Planning Meetings
  • Support and provide leadership to Executive SIOP Process, including data preparation and meeting facilitation
  • Develop and monitor KPIs, reporting on forecast accuracy
  • Support continuous improvement and modernization of demand planning & SIOP management systems
  • Independently create reports, work across disparate data sets, provide data visualization, and present multiple scenarios to support recommendations
  • Mentorship and development of SIOP Team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, STEM or business-related program or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of leadership experience in forecasting, operations management, or demand planning
  • Strong mathematical, data management, and Excel skills
  • Capability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate globally to all levels of the organization
  • Strong technical or statistical aptitude
  • Master’s degree in business administration, economics or related field (preferred)
  • Experience of managing a team (preferred)
  • Kinaxis Rapid Response proficiency (preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning or forecasting and statistical analysis (preferred)
