Job Description
Senior Manager responsible for global demand planning and forecasting processes at Terex Corporation. Leading team and improving revenue and unit forecast accuracy while supporting customer service levels.
Responsibilities:
- Lead global revenue and forecasting processes, including monthly decision meetings
- Serve as NA Demand Planning Lead
- Communicate forecast confidence, risks, and opportunities to functional groups and SIOP leadership
- Analyze historical orders, sales pipeline data, and market information to improve forecast accuracy
- Conduct monthly forecast reviews with regional sales teams; adjust forecasts and gain alignment with business owners
- Lead Supply Planning Meetings
- Support and provide leadership to Executive SIOP Process, including data preparation and meeting facilitation
- Develop and monitor KPIs, reporting on forecast accuracy
- Support continuous improvement and modernization of demand planning & SIOP management systems
- Independently create reports, work across disparate data sets, provide data visualization, and present multiple scenarios to support recommendations
- Mentorship and development of SIOP Team
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, STEM or business-related program or equivalent experience
- 3 years of leadership experience in forecasting, operations management, or demand planning
- Strong mathematical, data management, and Excel skills
- Capability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively communicate globally to all levels of the organization
- Strong technical or statistical aptitude
- Master’s degree in business administration, economics or related field (preferred)
- Experience of managing a team (preferred)
- Kinaxis Rapid Response proficiency (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in demand planning or forecasting and statistical analysis (preferred)
