Job Description
Senior Transportation Manager overseeing operations with up to 100 drivers. Managing P&L and safety for GXO Logistics, a leading supply chain solutions provider.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a multi-location operation with up to 100 company drivers
- Focus on P&L, asset management, safety, customer service, and driver onboarding
- Handle management of tractor maintenance, compliance, and service delivery
- Track operational performance including on-time pick-up and delivery, volume, and empty miles
- Ensure driver recruiting and retention meets established fleet size goals
Requirements:
- 5 years of transportation management experience
- Advanced knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
- Solid experience in the principles and practices of the transportation industry
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- 10 years of experience in the transportation industry (preferred)
- Dedicated Fleet Management experience (preferred)
