Job Description
Senior Product Manager at Unbounce, overseeing platform modernization and engineering velocity initiatives. Collaborating with engineering leads to balance infrastructure investment and business impact.
Responsibilities:
- Unbounce is actively modernizing its engineering approach with AI-native tooling and practices. You'll help sequence platform work to support this direction and ensure the foundation can carry what we're building next.
- Develop and maintain a rolling roadmap for platform health and infrastructure modernization. Prioritize based on engineering impact, customer-facing risk, and the velocity gains it creates for feature teams.
- Work with engineering leads to understand platform investment opportunities across scalability, reliability, security, and architecture, and translate those into clear tradeoffs that executives and cross-functional partners can act on.
- Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria, manage the backlog, lead sprint reviews, and keep the team focused on outcomes rather than effort.
- Define and track the KPIs that matter: deployment frequency, build reliability, test coverage, incident response times, and engineering-reported velocity. Build reporting that makes progress visible.
Requirements:
- Proven product management experience. 5+ years in a PM role, with at least 2 years owning a platform, infrastructure, or technical enablement team in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Technical fluency. You don't write code, but you can engage credibly with engineers about architectural tradeoffs and modernization strategies. You understand concepts like scalability, service dependencies, test coverage, and deployment pipelines well enough to help prioritize and push back.
- Strong prioritization instincts. You're comfortable making calls about sequencing and tradeoffs under competing pressures. You can make a clear case for platform investment in a room full of people who want new features.
- Clear communication and influence. You can run a sprint review that keeps engineers engaged and stakeholders informed. You're comfortable with ambiguity and good at creating clarity for others.
- Experience in Agile environments. You champion the process without being precious about it. You know how to adapt ceremonies to serve the team, not the other way around.

- Work From Anywhere Program
