Job Description

Senior Product Manager owning customer-driven vertical strategy for Zeitview’s intelligent aerial imaging platform. Translating infrastructure inspection needs into product requirements, metrics, business cases, and go-to-market plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the voice of the customer for an entire industry vertical
  • Serve as Zeitview's resident expert for a target vertical
  • Own problem definition, including enterprise customer needs, motivations, and value
  • Run customer discovery and build client relationships alongside sales
  • Synthesize market signals and translate them into prioritized requirements for platform product managers and engineering teams
  • Conduct competitive intelligence and define product success metrics
  • Develop business cases and go-to-market strategies for expanding offerings
  • Define vertical success in terms of revenue, retention, and customer outcomes
  • Embed with 3–5 strategic accounts to understand inspection workflows, pain points, and decision-making structures
  • Run structured discovery through customer interviews, operational ride-alongs, competitive analysis, and usage data
  • Negotiate engineering capacity with platform product managers using data and customer evidence
  • Write requirements specific enough to build from and flexible enough to serve platform-wide
  • Build internal credibility as the company’s industry expert
  • Coordinate across functions and informally guide others without direct reports
  • Regularly engage enterprise clients and travel to physical infrastructure and inspection sites

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a science, technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of professional experience
  • 5+ years in product management, solutions consulting, technical sales, or a comparable customer-facing role in enterprise software
  • Deep domain expertise in at least one of: solar energy, wind energy, commercial properties, electric utilities, or oil & gas
  • Direct industry experience required; candidates without direct industry experience will not be considered
  • Track record of building trusted relationships with enterprise customers and converting those relationships into product insight
  • Ability to run structured discovery and synthesize qualitative and quantitative inputs into a prioritized problem set
  • Commercial acumen connecting product decisions to pipeline, deal size, retention, and competitive positioning
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and inspection locations
  • Experience working with operational or service delivery teams preferred
  • Experience with geospatial data, remote sensing, or asset management platforms preferred
  • Familiarity with AI/ML-powered products preferred
  • Experience with go-to-market strategy preferred
  • Experience in mobile application development preferred
