Job Description
Senior Project Manager delivering Cubic’s transportation IT projects in Ireland. Leading cross-functional teams, budgets, vendors, ITIL compliance, and customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver IT projects aligned with business goals
- Oversee IT upgrade projects while maintaining operations
- Ensure compliance with ITIL processes, including incident, change, and configuration management
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Facilitate change management processes and stakeholder communications
- Track project performance using Jira, MS Project, and ServiceNow
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations
- Conduct post-project evaluations and implement continuous improvement practices
- Oversee budgets, resource allocation, and procurement
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and corporate IT teams
- Manage customer relationships and provide regular project status updates
- Represent Cubic at steering meetings with senior customer management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in IT project management
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and project lifecycle methodologies
- Certification in PMP, SCRUM Master, or ITIL
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, and ServiceNow
- Experience in transit, engineering, or manufacturing environments (preferred)
- Familiarity with Agile, PRINCE2, or hybrid project methodologies (preferred)
- Experience with fare collection systems or mobile ticketing platforms (preferred)
- Membership in a professional body such as PMI or APM (preferred)
