Job Description

Project Manager overseeing commercial signage and construction projects for national sign companies. Managing budgets, permits, schedules, fabrication, and installation from conception to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple commercial signage projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure project success
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines throughout permitting, fabrication, and installation
  • Maintain detailed cost tracking aligned with project budgets
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain current project records, files, and documentation
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Interpret and work from engineered drawings and sign plans
  • Schedule and coordinate site work
  • Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
  • Operate independently while contributing to process improvement and company targets
  • Support customers in reaching end goals through budget and milestone tracking, permit coordination, and site-work scheduling

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of project management experience in the signage or construction industry
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, with coursework in business, construction, manufacturing, logistics, or project management preferred
  • PMP certification is a plus but not required
  • 5+ years successfully working within a project schedule and/or budget
  • 5+ years of business-to-business communication and service
  • 5+ years managing and meeting milestones and deadlines
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to think innovatively and adapt to challenges in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read construction documents and site plans
  • Ability to read and understand technical and contractual language/information
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Acrobat
  • Proactive mindset and ability to anticipate challenges and stay ahead of deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail

  • Industry knowledge of sign types, construction methods, permitting, and installation
  • Willingness and ability to travel when required (very minimal)
