Job Description
Senior Sales Engineer presenting and implementing Veeam data-resilience software for German customers and partners. Supporting pre-sales, POCs, lead generation, and technical evaluations.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver presentations and demonstrations during live and virtual customer meetings
- Implement Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and manage them through technical completion
- Support lead-generation activities, including events, webinars, and user groups
- Translate business objectives into technical requirements with customers and partners, and support their implementation
- Independently advise customers on data protection
- Work closely with Sales to acquire new partners and customers
- Collaborate with Product Management to gather customer feedback
- Support customers with the evaluation of Veeam software during the pre-sales process
Requirements:
- Industry experience with data protection technologies
- Experience working with monitoring tools and frameworks
- Demonstrated experience with virtualization technologies
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with limited direction
- Ability to adapt to changing tasks and responsibilities
- VMCE certification is a plus; VMCE and VMCA certifications may be obtained after joining the company
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within the region
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to present to groups in English and German
- Industry-relevant professional certifications are desirable
- Proven experience in solution selling and/or technical pre-sales preferred
- Industry experience with storage, networking, and/or cloud technologies highly desirable
- Experience deploying software solutions in complex environments
- In-depth understanding of Veeam and/or similar technologies
