Job Description
Senior Shopify Front-End Developer at Homera Health, scaling Shopify storefronts across various brands. Collaborating with product and design teams to enhance performance and site experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Build, customize, and maintain Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Implement new features, page templates, and UI components across the storefront
- Customize product pages, collections, bundles, and subscription flows
- Ensure clean, scalable, and well-documented front-end code
- Optimize site speed, responsiveness, and performance across devices
- Ensure strong accessibility and cross-browser compatibility
- Support CRO initiatives, A/B testing, and iteration based on performance data
- Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues quickly and reliably
- Work closely with product, ecommerce, design, and marketing teams
- Translate Figma designs and requirements into high-quality Shopify implementations
- Partner with leadership and other engineers on architecture, best practices, and reviews
- Support launches, promotions, and ongoing storefront updates
- Implement and customize Shopify apps (subscriptions, reviews, upsells, analytics)
- Support integrations with third-party tools and services as needed
- Ensure front-end compatibility with Shopify updates and app changes
Requirements:
- 5+ years of front-end development experience, with strong Shopify specialization
- Deep experience with Shopify themes, Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Proven experience working on live, high-traffic Shopify stores
- Strong understanding of ecommerce UX, performance, and conversion best practices
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, async environment
- Clear communicator who collaborates well across teams
- Experience supporting subscription-based ecommerce is a strong plus
- Nice to Have
- Experience in supplements, skincare, wellness, clothing or other applicable consumer products.
- Exposure to modern JS frameworks (used selectively within Shopify constraints)
