Job Description
Senior Software Developer delivering software solutions at Optio Incentives, a fintech scale-up. Collaborating across teams and driving product delivery with a focus on quality and maintainability.
Responsibilities:
- Own end to end delivery of meaningful product and platform work, from discovery and design to production and iteration
- Drive architecture and technical design within your area, making pragmatic trade-offs and raising the quality bar
- Improve reliability, correctness, and maintainability through better testing, observability, and operational practices
- Collaborate tightly with Product and Sales on scoping, sequencing, and decisions
- Mentor other engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical leadership
- Lead cross-team initiatives, align stakeholders, and create leverage through shared patterns, tooling, and standards
Requirements:
- Senior engineer with strong full-stack capability, or strong backend plus willingness to work across the stack when needed
- Strong in modern web development practices, or able to ramp quickly
- Comfortable taking ambiguous problems and turning them into clear plans and shipped outcomes
- High standards for code quality, production readiness, and long-term maintainability
- Clear communicator who keeps stakeholders aligned and makes progress visible
