Job Description
Senior Backend Engineer designing core backend architecture and guiding engineering excellence for AI-native platform. Collaborating with product and AI teams in a high-impact, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate as a senior individual contributor while setting technical direction
- Design and own core backend architecture across multiple services
- Build and scale distributed, event-driven systems
- Own major technical decisions and ensure long-term maintainability
- Collaborate closely with backend, AI, and product teams to deliver high-impact systems
Requirements:
- Extensive experience building backend systems with Node.js / TypeScript
- Strong architectural skills in distributed systems, async workflows, and service boundaries
- Deep understanding of data modeling and relational databases (PostgreSQL)
- Experience with AWS, Terraform, CI/CD, and modern DevOps tooling
- Familiarity with AI/LLM system integration or strong motivation to learn quickly
