Job Description
Senior Solutions Architect advising UAE customers on GitLab’s AI-powered DevSecOps platform. Leading technical evaluations, solution design, and digital transformation across the software lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to GitLab prospects and customers
- Explain how GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform addresses technical requirements and business objectives
- Guide organizations through digital transformation across the software development lifecycle
- Lead technical discovery, demos, validation, solution design, proofs of concept or value, workshops, tenders, audits, and value stream assessments
- Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales teams across Italy on account strategies, customer acquisition, and expansion
- Build relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders
- Advise customers on software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud practices
- Share customer feedback, use cases, and competitive insights with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing
- Create reusable examples, best-practice guidance, and technical collateral
- Invest in ongoing learning, mentorship, and knowledge sharing
Requirements:
- Experience engaging with customers in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles, guiding them through solution design and evaluation
- Proficiency with the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including modern DevSecOps practices and continuous integration and continuous deployment workflows
- Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control, continuous integration and continuous deployment, and collaboration platforms
- Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts and related technologies
- Ability to lead technical evaluations such as proofs of concept or proofs of value, contribute to tenders or audits, and design and run workshops or value stream assessments
- Clear technical communication and presentation skills
- Skill in building trusted relationships and acting as a customer advocate
- Experience within MEA region
- Arabic/English speaking is required
- Ability to travel at least 25%
