Job Description
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central finance architect designing ERP solutions for businesses. Leading consultants, integrations, data migration, and finance presales for Microsoft technology partner Western Computer.
Responsibilities:
- Design finance processes in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, from chart of accounts and dimensions to posting groups and approvals
- Translate finance requirements into design documents and configuration specifications
- Lead and guide functional consultants through BC solution implementation, configuration, customization, and integrations
- Plan data migration and reconcile opening balances and open AP/AR at go-live
- Coordinate project teams, timelines, deployments, and technical challenges
- Oversee integrations with other enterprise applications and ensure data integrity
- Engage business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors
- Run workshops, training sessions, and presentations for CFOs, controllers, and finance teams
- Support presales and develop BC finance best practices
Requirements:
- 7+ years implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV, with a focus on finance
- Strong knowledge of accounting, accounts payable/accounts receivable processes, and month-end close
- Experience leading full-cycle projects and consultant teams
- Clear communication and presales skills
- Accounting degree, CPA, or MB-800 certification is a plus
