Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary technical escalation point for strategic accounts throughout the sales cycle and into onboarding and handoff to Customer Success.
  • Mentor and provide technical resources for other Solutions Engineers, coaching on complex deals, technical objection handling, and best practices.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to represent enterprise customer requirements, influence roadmap priorities, and pilot new capabilities with strategic accounts.
  • Build and maintain reusable enterprise assets, including reference architectures, technical playbooks, and demo environments.
  • Represent Storyblok as a thought leader at industry events, executive briefings, and customer advisory forums.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or a similar pre-sales technical role at a B2B SaaS company, supporting enterprise or strategic accounts.
  • Hands-on experience as a web developer or software engineer.
  • Ability to build custom demos and proof-of-concepts using JavaScript, APIs, and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Next.js.
  • Deep familiarity with enterprise software ecosystems and integration patterns including SSO/SAML, headless/composable architecture, DAM, PIM, and CDNs.
  • Knowledge of enterprise security and compliance requirements.
  • Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with C-level/executive buyers, security teams, and procurement.
  • Experience with monolithic/traditional CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore, or Adobe AEM, and migration strategies from these platforms.
  • Excellent executive presence, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience mentoring or informally leading other technical pre-sales professionals is a strong plus.
  • Strong command of English required; additional languages are a plus.
  • AI literacy and ability to leverage AI tools while applying sound judgment and critical thinking.
  • Fluency in modern technical selling frameworks such as Demo2Win, Challenger Sale, or MEDDIC/MEDDPICC; ability to coach these frameworks and apply structured discovery and value-based demo techniques.

Benefits:

  • Monthly remote work stipend (home internet costs, electricity)
  • Home office equipment package right at the start (laptop, keyboard, monitor…)
  • Home office equipment upgrade (furniture, ear plugs …) or membership to a local co-working space after your onboarding
