Job Description

Senior Sourcing and Procurement Analyst leading acquisition strategy and managing supplier engagements at GDIT. Focused on compliance, risk mitigation, and procurement execution in a remote capacity.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep growth on track and your career in motion as a Senior Sourcing and Procurement Analyst at GDIT.
  • Lead acquisition strategy during capture to power competitive proposals.
  • Strengthen supplier partnerships and position GDIT for long‑term mission success.
  • Shape sourcing strategies across categories, advising on supplier selection, negotiation approaches, and compliance impacts.
  • Serve as the cross‑functional lead for major procurement initiatives.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, risks, and milestones.
  • Lead end‑to‑end execution of complex RFPs/RFQs and supplier evaluations.
  • Interpret procurement policies, customer requirements, and regulatory constraints.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to cost, schedule, performance, compliance, and commercial terms.
  • Mentor team members to enhance sourcing and negotiation capability.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of related experience
  • US Citizenship Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, operations, or related field
  • 4+ years of additional relevant experience may substitute for a degree
  • Experience in strategic sourcing, FAR compliant procurement, contract negotiations, or a related supply chain discipline
  • Experience leading complex RFPs
  • Negotiating commercial terms
  • Managing cross-functional procurement initiatives strongly preferred
  • Technical & Professional Skills: Strong ability to partner with stakeholders to understand procurement objectives and drive initiatives to completion, delivering cost savings, risk mitigation, optimized terms and conditions, and a compliant procurement package.
  • Proficiency in Excel (analytics/reporting), Word, and source-to-pay, contract management, or procurement systems.
