Job Description
Senior Subcontracts Administrator leading subcontractor sourcing, compliance, and risk management for GDIT’s federal proposals. Supporting growth at a global government technology and mission services company.
Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Growth Strategist as an integral member of the team
- Support execution of sourcing strategies and subcontract management activities
- Lead subcontractor engagement and sourcing strategy during capture and proposal development
- Develop requests for proposals and evaluate supplier capabilities
- Lead competitive analysis
- Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS requirements and GDIT policies
- Coordinate subcontract-related proposal inputs, including cost/price data, teaming documentation, non-disclosure execution, compliance artifacts, and technical volume contributions
- Incorporate small business and socioeconomic considerations
- Analyze capture requirements and identify subcontracting risks, gaps, and opportunities
- Recommend mitigation strategies to the Capture Manager and Proposal Manager
- Escalate risk concerns to leadership when applicable
- Use artificial intelligence to identify gaps or risks between subcontractor agreements and customer requirements
- Prepare and deliver subcontractor status updates, risk assessments, and pricing insights to leadership and capture stakeholders
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend enhancements to templates, workflows, and subcontractor engagement models
- Use source-to-pay and proposal systems to track subcontractor activities and ensure documentation completeness
- Provide accurate data for color team reviews and leadership briefings
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, contracts, supply chain, government acquisition, or related business field; 4 years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
- 5+ years supporting federal subcontracting, procurement, or proposal development
- Strong familiarity with FAR-based environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience developing RFXs to suppliers
- Experience analyzing subcontractor proposals
- Experience negotiating agreements or terms
- Experience working in source-to-pay or contract management systems
- Strong understanding of subcontracting processes throughout capture and proposal phases
- Experience with price analysis, competitive sourcing, and compliance considerations
- Ability to identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and proactively elevate challenges to capture and procurement leadership
- Ability to clearly communicate with internal teams, external partners, and executive leadership
- U.S. Persons required
- Ability to travel 10–25%
