Job Description
Senior Technical Project Manager leading automation projects and AI tooling in a healthcare context. Collaborating with teams to enhance project delivery and achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead automation initiatives: You identify, prioritize and lead automation projects across all subsidiaries — from process analysis and tool selection to implementation.
- Build AI tooling: You lead an internal team and external developers to design and implement internal AI applications (e.g., workflow automation, document processing, reporting).
- Coordinate delivery: You manage external service providers, agencies and internal teams — with clear timelines, milestones and escalation paths.
- Shape the tech roadmap: You develop the automation roadmap together with the CPTO and feed it into portfolio prioritization.
- Enable stakeholders: You make progress visible, communicate results to C-level, and identify synergies across the group companies.
- Set standards: You establish project management and delivery best practices in a growing tech environment.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in technical project management, ideally with an AI/automation focus.
- Agency background: You know how to brief, manage and keep external partners and agencies on track.
- Proven experience managing external service providers, freelancers and agencies.
- Strong technical understanding: You can engage with engineers on equal terms — about APIs, ML pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with common PM frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, OKRs).
- Excellent communication skills in German and English — written and spoken.
- Hands-on mentality: You don't wait for instructions but proactively drive things forward.
- Bonus: Experience in the healthcare sector or within a PE-backed corporate group.
