Job Description

Senior Technical Project Manager managing integration projects at Beth Israel Lahey Health. Overseeing project plans, resources, and team collaboration with a focus on positive outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, define, and execute project plans, budgets, and schedules/deliverables; establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of project/program.
  • Oversee development of integrated testing, validation, development of training materials, and the conduct of the training.
  • Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones.
  • Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects.
  • Define, identify, secure, and coordinate internal and external resources and expertise, as appropriate, for the program/project implementation.
  • Drive functional and technical specifications to completion, engage effectively with key stakeholders, identify and set success criteria and have a full understanding of the project life cycle.
  • Determine and define clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives.
  • Facilitate the project team discussion to define the process for identifying and documenting issues in a project and recommending corrective action. Takes the lead in the issue resolution process and identifies project priorities when resolving issues.
  • Communicates the status of issue management activities to project team members and organizational stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field required.
  • More than 10 years related work experience required in project management and/or software development/system management experience.
  • Knowledge and experience using basic and intermediate project management tools and techniques.
  • Advanced technical computer skills as required for technical support specific to functional area and related systems.
