Job Description
Mining Sales Engineer managing sales and business development within the mining sector. Responsible for achieving targets and providing customer solutions on site in various mining operations.
Responsibilities:
- Achieving agreed sales targets by developing, maintaining and managing new business within the company’s mining product line throughout the region
- Selling, marketing and promoting all the services and products offered by the company within the mining industry
- Demonstrating the benefits of the company’s product line to customers through on-site visits at surface or underground mines
- Ensuring sales forecasts and budgets are achieved
- Managing existing and new accounts, ensuring a superior level of customer service and satisfaction
- Preparing documentation and submissions for Tenders, Expressions of Interest and Requests For Information
- Representing the company in industry events and tradeshows
Requirements:
- Technology or Bachelor's degree in mining or engineering discipline strongly preferred
- Experience in technical sales with a successful track record preferred
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the Mining industry required
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal resources to resolve various equipment/lubricant related issues
- Established network in the mining industry preferred
- Current & valid driving license required
