Job Description

Service Engineer at Supermicro providing remote support and troubleshooting for enterprise equipment. Collaborating with teams to ensure customer satisfaction and service excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote support with a combination of dedicated support and helpdesk support
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems
  • Drive customer satisfaction through service excellence
  • Ensure escalation situations are managed quickly
  • Provide 2nd line support to reseller/distributors
  • Work with Technical Account Manager and Product Manager
  • Run tests and simulations at the facility
  • Train new service engineers
  • Manage the day to day tickets assigned on the SMC Service Portal
  • Experience with generating and presenting quality reports

Requirements:

  • Good problem solving skills
  • Experience required in similar role
  • English skill needs to be business level or above
  • Driving license
  • Able to work physically (installing servers and replacing parts may require you to physically lift items)
