Job Description

Social & Content Lead at Apollo, overseeing social strategy across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. Drive growth and engagement in premium electric mobility marketing initiatives in Canada.

Responsibilities:

  • You orchestrate.
  • Your day is directing a roster of creators, affiliates, and videographers, and turning their output into a coherent, compelling story for Apollo — with a native plan for each of our three platforms, not one plan copy-pasted across them.
  • You trade product and access for content, manage contributors at scale, and run a methodical test-and-learn system that tells us what actually works, by platform, by format, by angle.
  • You bring the craft to recognize good content and direct it.
  • But the mandate is building the engine, not operating the equipment.
  • Per-channel social strategy across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram — a distinct, native plan for each, aligned to product launches, campaigns, and paid media.
  • Growth of our YouTube presence and the expansion of our affiliate creator network — our single biggest untapped channel.
  • Durable marketing pillars and major activations that build traction over time — moving us off the month-to-month guessing and toward a repeatable system that makes Apollo stand out on the strength of our product and story.
  • A structured creative testing system: hypotheses, variants, results, iteration — not one-off posts.
  • Monthly KPIs and reporting — clear analysis and recommendations you act on.

Requirements:

  • You've independently owned a channel or social strategy and can point to results you drove with no one directing you.
  • You think in systems — repeatable processes and disciplined creative tests, not trend-chasing one post at a time.
  • You're AI-native in practice: you automate creator outreach, generate and test creative variance, edit faster, and pull reporting with AI as a default, not a novelty (Higgsfield and similar tools included).
  • You know YouTube cold — long and short — and you're fluent in what performs on Shorts, Reels, and TikTok, and why.
  • You're relentless at sourcing and signing creators; cold outreach doesn't faze you.
  • You're self-directed and organized enough to run multiple creator workstreams without dropping anything.
  • You can shoot and cut when the moment calls for it, and articulate why a piece of content works — but you'd rather build the system than be the system.
