Job Description
Software Engineer Intern building approval workflows in Macro Helix’s 340B Architect SaaS platform. Improving healthcare implementation transparency and speed at McKesson.
Responsibilities:
- Report to the VP of Research & Development, Matt Bates
- Own how to structure integrating OneStop’s spreadsheet-based approval process into Macro Helix’s 340B Architect SaaS platform
- Design a structured approval experience inside 340B Architect
- Enable customers to review, validate, and formally approve configurations before activation
- Help reduce administrative effort, improve transparency, accelerate implementation timelines, and establish Architect as the system of record for the implementation lifecycle
Requirements:
- Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
- Exposure to AI-assisted development, cloud technologies, APIs, and product-focused problem solving
- Exposure to one or more programming languages: C#, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript
- Basic knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Familiarity with database concepts and SQL
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and apply new technologies
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently on assigned projects
