Job Description
Software Engineering Manager leading AI analytics platform for identifying music talent at Warner Music Group. Collaborating with engineering teams on innovative projects.
Responsibilities:
- Own team deliverables and objectives
- Set technical strategy and engineering best practices in collaboration with senior engineers
- Provide active career development and technical guidance to engineers
- Hire, build your team, and manage performance
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to ensure successful project management
- Reimagine and implement the future of data for the music industry
- Build, drive and uplift a dynamic and highly effective engineering team
- Own the creation and delivery of innovative products
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related field
- At least 2 years of experience leading engineering teams of 6-10+ software engineers
- Hands-on leader who writes code, conducts code reviews, and is involved in architectural design and strategy work
- Effective communication skills and proven track record of effective hiring and team building
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and fast-paced, evolving environments
- Empathetic leader who builds strong teams
