Job Description

Azure Data and Analytics Solution Architect designing end-to-end Azure solutions for NRI North America. Building data platforms, models, reports, and cloud infrastructure for enterprise clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Discuss best practices and strategies for modern data and analytics with clients
  • Integrate data sources to build models and reports for business users
  • Configure and operationalize cloud infrastructure in Azure
  • Advise clients on Microsoft’s cloud data strategy and roadmap
  • Stay current with Microsoft technologies and modern data platform best practices
  • Design, build, and deliver end-to-end data and analytics solutions for enterprise clients
  • Work alongside peers in a collaborative consulting environment

Requirements:

  • Data engineering experience in Azure and familiarity with modern data platform technologies, including Azure Analysis Services, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Warehouse, and Azure Data Factory
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering and modeling
  • Ability to design an end-to-end data analytics solution architecture and drive its implementation
  • Deep understanding of Agile engineering practices
  • Data warehousing
  • Data ETL/ELT
  • Data modeling (Dimensional/Kimball)
  • T-SQL
  • Azure Data Factory or strong SSIS experience
  • Azure Data Lake Store
  • SQL Server/Azure SQL
  • Azure Analysis Services or SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) - Tabular
  • Azure DevOps/Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to adjust to new client cultures and projects
  • Ability to adapt positively to change
  • Ability to collaborate with clients to identify and address business needs
  • Self-starter
