Job Description
Solution Architect designing scalable enterprise integration systems for Qualysoft’s IT consulting and digital transformation services. Guiding architecture across APIs, event-driven systems, Java/.NET platforms, and cloud technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Define and drive end-to-end architecture for projects within the Core & Integrations vertical
- Translate business and non-functional requirements into scalable, resilient and maintainable solutions
- Work with development teams, business analysts and stakeholders to select technologies, integration patterns and implementation approaches
- Design services, APIs, integration flows, data models and technical components
- Define and validate non-functional requirements for performance, scalability, availability, security, observability and disaster recovery
- Guide development teams throughout implementation and support critical technical decisions
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, dependencies and architectural constraints
- Contribute to estimations, feasibility studies, proof-of-concepts, vendor evaluations and technology assessments
- Promote reuse of platforms, services, components and integration assets
- Collaborate with architects, technical leads and engineering teams to ensure solution consistency and quality
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade integration solutions
- Experience across Java and/or .NET ecosystems in complex environments
- Hands-on architecture experience bridging business requirements and technical implementation
- Effective use of AI-assisted engineering practices, including Microsoft Copilot and similar tools

- Architecture documentation, reviews, decision records (ADR), and C4 Model or alternative

- REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, GraphQL, async messaging, Apache Kafka, event streaming, CDC, SOAP/WSDL
- API and event contract design, enterprise integration patterns, API gateway patterns, and anti-corruption layer
- .NET/C# and/or Java/Spring Boot
- OpenShift/Kubernetes and Docker
- CI/CD using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
- SQL and relational databases, including Oracle and SQL Server
- NoSQL technologies, including Redis and Elasticsearch
- IIS reliability, security and observability
- OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, logging and monitoring
- Resilience patterns including circuit breaker, retry, bulkhead and timeout
- OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect, JWT, and API security
- Microsoft Copilot and generative AI productivity tools
- Prompt engineering
- AI-assisted architecture, design, development and code review
- Critical evaluation of AI-generated outputs
- Responsible AI fundamentals
- Technical leadership, stakeholder management, requirements analysis, technical mentoring and coaching
- Problem solving, communication, facilitation and presentation skills
