Job Description

Solution Architect primarily engaging with clients for PLM solutions and Teamcenter implementation. Involves analysis, design, and project leadership in PLM industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary point of contact for the client on PLM and project-related matters
  • Responsible for capturing and analyzing business processes
  • Development and presentation of solution concepts and implementation options
  • Effort estimation and preparation of proposals regarding technical aspects
  • Definition and implementation planning for Teamcenter customizations and deployments
  • Advising clients on possible solutions, approaches, strategies, and processes
  • Applying agile or traditional project methodologies for concept and specification work
  • Responsible for design, implementation, migration, testing, and roll-out activities
  • Support for configuration, customization, and development of bespoke solutions based on Teamcenter
  • Participation in projects or acting as partial/full project lead and managing interdisciplinary and international teams

Requirements:

  • Completed degree or vocational training in computer science, mechanical engineering, or comparable qualifications
  • Strong knowledge in PLM/PDM
  • In-depth expertise and proven experience with PLM/PDM processes, concepts, and methods
  • Many years of project experience (preferably with agile methodology)
  • Detailed knowledge of Teamcenter (Tc) Structure Management, Tc Change Management, Tc Dispatcher and/or Tc Scheduler, and other modules
  • Knowledge of Organization and Access Management
  • Configuration and server-side customization of Teamcenter based on BMIDE (data model, workflows, and ITK / SOA services)
  • Client-side customization, both codeless and code-based for Active Workspace (AW) and Rich Client (RAC)
  • Teamcenter integration with CAD and ERP systems
  • Intercultural competence and ability to contribute in an international team
  • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
