Job Description
Solutions Architect - Azure providing customer-facing services to define and oversee cloud-based initiatives. Responsible for architecting solutions for SHI’s customer move to the Public Cloud.
Responsibilities:
- The Solutions Architect - Azure will provide customer-facing services to our customers to help them define and oversee cloud-based initiatives.
- Responsible for helping strategize, architect, and implement various solutions that support SHI customer’s move to the Public Cloud.
- Design and implement enterprise infrastructure and platforms required for cloud computing, analyzing system requirements and ensuring that systems are securely integrated with current applications.
- Lead the development of SOWs, working closely with various teams to ensure alignment with client needs and business objectives.
- Collaborate with SHI sales teams, including front line sellers and customer success managers, to ensure a unified approach to service delivery and client engagement.
Requirements:
- Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience
- 5+ years of experience designing and architecting solutions in Azure
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Deep understanding of system development in cloud environments, including Software as Service (SaaS), Platform as Service (PaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
- Thorough understanding of Cloud Computing: virtualization technologies, Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service and Software as a Service Cloud delivery models and the current competitive landscape
- Thorough understanding of infrastructure (firewalls, load balancers, hypervisor, storage, monitoring, security etc.) and have experience with orchestration to develop a cloud solution
- Experience migrating workloads to the Public Cloud or managing workloads in the Public Cloud
- Certifications AZ - 104 Microsoft Azure Administrator
- AZ - 305 Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
