Job Description
Cloud presales Solutions Architect designing secure Azure, AWS, and OCI solutions for NRI Australia & New Zealand. Creating technical proposals, pricing models, and Statements of Work.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design solutions
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of cloud architecture, capabilities, and limitations
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with NRI best practices and standards
- Lead technical design and implementation reviews
- Develop technical specifications and align development teams to those specifications
- Collaborate with development, testing, project management, and other cross-functional teams
- Create technical proposals, respond to RFPs/RFQs, and deliver demonstrations
- Develop accurate pricing models and Statements of Work
- Produce overall solutions including High-Level Designs, Solution Briefs, Statements of Work, Service Design, and Bills of Materials
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years in IT, with experience in cloud migration and architecture, including designing, implementing, and managing cloud computing strategy, cloud adoption plans, application design, and monitoring
- Experience in pre-sales and development of proposals or Statements of Work (SoW) for solutions using best practices
- Experience building secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure
- Ability to bridge technical, security, and business stakeholders
- Proficiency in Azure, AWS, and OCI
- Experience with DevOps tools and security
- Deep knowledge of public and hybrid clouds, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Platform, and Oracle Cloud
- Experience with Linux/Windows operating systems, networking, and virtualization
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Bash, or C#
- Strong understanding of cloud security protocols and compliance
- Strong documentation skills, including architecture design content and principles
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey ideas to varied audiences
- Cloud certifications highly valued, including Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional
