Job Description

Solutions Architect responsible for developing solutions for the P&C insurance industry and leading consultative client discussions. Collaborating with Business Development to ensure client needs are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the P&C insurance domain expert during the sales process for carriers, MGAs, and brokers.
  • Conduct detailed needs assessments, lead consultative client discussions, and help develop ReSource Pro’s integrated service and product solutions stack.
  • Develop & Deliver Solutions: Lead the solution development and blueprint creation process.
  • Architect specific, detailed solutions (encompassing data, analytics, automation, and processes), manage cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive strategy, assess operational/financial risks, and lead solution defense conversations with clients.
  • Contribute to Thought Leadership: Enhance ReSource Pro’s position as an industry leader by leading webinars, authoring white papers, contributing to the corporate blog, and engaging at industry trade shows.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Efficiency: Support RFI/RFPs and analyst relations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferred areas of learning include Business, Finance, or Insurance-focused Risk Management)
  • P&C Domain Expertise: Minimum 5–7+ years of work experience in the P&C insurance and/or employee benefits industry
  • Operations & Process Focus: 2–3+ years of Lean process improvement or operations management experience in a service environment is required
  • Consultative & Analytical Mindset: Incredible listening skills and intellectual curiosity
  • Technological & Systems Proficiency: Experience with P&C Insurance Agency Management Systems, employee benefits systems, Visio, and MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Communication & Presence: Outstanding oral, written, and presentation skills with the agility to navigate ambiguous environments and effectively command a room, including client C-suite leaders.
  • Travel Flexibility: Ability and willingness to travel 40% – 50% domestically within the U.S. (with occasional international travel)
