Job Description
Staff UX Researcher at Narvar driving product culture through UX insights. Leading research strategies and frameworks for customer intelligence in B2B2C SaaS.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement a scalable Research Ops framework from the ground up.
- Lead the research strategy for the Merchant Experience Platform.
- Partner with product leaders on 0-to-1 initiatives like Agentic Post-Purchase Experience.
- Scale our Design Partnership Program by establishing a direct line to our most strategic retail partners.
- Act as a strategic partner to the Senior Leadership, using data-backed insights to challenge assumptions.
- Evangelize the value of research across Narvar.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of UX Research experience with a proven track record of building or maturing research functions within B2B2C SaaS environments.
- Experience building or significantly maturing a research function from scratch.
- A portfolio that demonstrates success in both launching entirely new product categories and optimizing existing, high-traffic experiences.
- An expert in mixed methods from ethnographic field studies and longitudinal diary studies to usability testing and survey design.
- Comfortable with analyzing data to triangulate qualitative findings without relying on data engineering for foundational insights.
- Can translate complex research findings into compelling narratives that resonate with C-suite stakeholders, Engineering leads, and Product Managers alike.
- Understand the unique challenges of B2B research, including navigating “gatekeepers,” recruiting busy professionals, and balancing the needs of the buyer vs. user.
